SCAN STEELS LIMITED, being as integrated unit, has its own Sponge Iron plant, Induction Furnace and Rolling Mill.
Sponge Iron Plant
It consists of two kilns of capacity 50 tons per day. Here best quality of sponge iron is being produced, which is being used for self-consumption and sometimes for commercial sale also.
Induction Furnace
SCAN STEELS LIMITED has got its own induction furnace that uses iron scrap and sponge iron to produce ingots of the highest quality in the state of Orissa. These ingots are used in its rolling mill. Production capacity is 12000 tons of ingots per year. The Induction Furnace division is equipped with an excellent laboratory where quality of Raw-Materials is thoroughly checked so that the quality of output is the best.
 
Rolling Mill
The rolling mill was the first of kind in the whole state. Rods produced here are known for their quality. In the present day ambience quality savvy customers get utmost realization for their money when they buy SCAN rods. Both TMT and TOR rods are being produced keeping in mind the requirements of customers, who expect best value for their investment. Starting with a production capacity 7000 tons per year, the production has grown by leaps and bound year after year.
